We never claim ownership of your code. The codebases you index remain entirely yours, and you can delete them from our servers at any time with a single click.

What We Store

Pyckle creates semantic embeddings of your code to enable intelligent context routing. Here's exactly what we keep:

Embeddings - Mathematical vectors representing code meaning (not readable code)
File paths - To map results back to your codebase
Code chunks - Small segments for accurate search results
Usage metrics - Anonymous statistics to improve the service

What We Never Do

Some things are simply off the table. We built Pyckle for developers, and we respect the trust you place in us.

We never sell your data to third parties
We never use your code to train AI models
We never share your code with other users
We never access your code without explicit purpose
We never retain data after you delete your account
