Terms of Service

The basics

By using Pyckle ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

Pyckle is operated by Pyckle, LLC ("we", "us", "our"). The Service provides semantic code routing for AI coding assistants.

Your account

You must provide accurate information when signing up
You're responsible for keeping your API key secure
One account per person or organization
You must be 18+ or have parental consent

If we suspect abuse, we may suspend your account. We'll try to contact you first, but reserve the right to act immediately if needed.

What you get

Payment

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. They handle:

Payment processing and billing
Sales tax and VAT collection
Refunds and disputes
Invoicing and receipts

When you purchase, you're agreeing to Lemon Squeezy's terms in addition to ours.

Free trial

Duration - New Pro subscribers receive a 14-day free trial with full access to all Pro features.
No payment required - No credit card or payment method is required to start your trial. You will not be charged during the trial period.
After the trial - When your trial ends, you may subscribe to Pro to continue. If you do not subscribe, your account reverts to the Free tier. No automatic charges will occur.
Trial limits - Each customer is eligible for one free trial. Trial availability may be modified or discontinued at any time.

Pricing and subscriptions

Current pricing - Pro is $20/month or $200/year. Analysis is a one-time $99 purchase. PyckLM Tuning is a one-time $199 purchase. All prices are in USD.
Billing cycle - Subscriptions renew automatically (monthly or yearly). You will be charged at the beginning of each billing period.
Cancellation - Cancel anytime from your dashboard. You keep access until the end of your billing period. No cancellation fees.
Price changes - We'll notify you via email at least 30 days before any price increase. You can cancel before it takes effect. Price decreases may take effect immediately.
Refunds - Contact us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, no questions asked. One-time purchases (Analysis, PyckLM Tuning) are refundable within 14 days if the service has not been delivered.
Taxes - All applicable taxes (sales tax, VAT) are calculated and collected by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record, and are added at checkout.

Acceptable use

Don't use Pyckle to:

Violate any laws or regulations
Harm, harass, or impersonate others
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Resell or redistribute the service without permission
Overwhelm our infrastructure with excessive requests
Reverse engineer our proprietary algorithms

Basically: use the service as intended, and we'll get along fine.

Your code and data

You own your code. We don't claim any rights to it.

Your source code stays on your machine
We don't train on your code (see our Privacy Policy)
Custom PyckLM models trained for you are exclusively yours

Our code and IP

Pyckle's software, algorithms, and models are our intellectual property. Your subscription grants you a license to use the service, not ownership of the underlying technology.

Availability

We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee 100% availability. Things break sometimes. We'll fix them as fast as we can.

For critical infrastructure needs, please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Liability

The service is provided "as is". We're not liable for:

Lost profits or data
Indirect or consequential damages
Issues caused by third-party services
Your reliance on AI-generated suggestions

Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the last 12 months.

Changes to terms

We may update these terms. If we make significant changes:

We'll notify you via email at least 30 days before
Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new terms
If you disagree, you can cancel before the changes take effect

Termination

By you: Cancel anytime from your dashboard.

By us: We may terminate your account for:

Violation of these terms
Non-payment
Abuse of the service

If we terminate for cause, no refund. If we terminate for other reasons, we'll refund unused time.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, in courts of competent jurisdiction within the United States.
